Alm Spa at almlust – warmth, calm & real exhale moments
Sauna, let go, arrive back at yourself: at the Alm Spa of almlust, Finnish sauna, panoramic herbal bio sauna, bio sauna, infrared warmth and conscious cold exposure come together in wellness that feels natural, soothing and real.
Wellness with true almlust feeling
Wellness at almlust should not feel polished or staged — it should feel real. Not perfectly arranged, but deeply soothing. Not loud and theatrical, but in a way that lets you feel: now I can slow down.
That is exactly what the Alm Spa is for. It is the warm counterpoint to active days in the mountains — the place after skiing, hiking, biking or climbing, or simply whenever your body asks for warmth and your mind asks for quiet.
This is not about oversized spa theatre. It is about that good feeling when the day becomes slower and you come back to yourself.
Warmth that suits you
At the Alm Spa, you find exactly the warmth you need in the moment.
That includes:
-
the Finnish sauna for intense, clear heat
-
the panoramic herbal bio sauna, where mild warmth, views and soothing herbal aromas surround you
-
the bio sauna for soft, gentle heat
-
the infrared cabin, whose warmth reaches deep into the body
In addition, you’ll find:
-
two relaxation areas, where you can simply let go after a sauna session
-
a seating corner with tea bar, where you can consciously take your moment afterwards
This creates no rigid spa programme, but a wellness feeling that adapts to your day. Sometimes stronger, sometimes softer, sometimes just long enough to thaw out, sometimes as a proper, mindful break with plenty of time.
Warmth and cold – consciously combined
The Alm Spa is no longer only about warmth, but also about conscious cold exposure.
Alongside guided ice bathing in the Almsee during winter, we now also offer ice bathing in summer. For this, we have added a dedicated cold bath, making this special experience possible all year round.
This adds a whole new level to wellness at almlust:
-
warmth and cold complement each other consciously
-
regeneration becomes more tangible
-
the body receives fresh, clear impulses
-
the wellness experience becomes both stronger and more mindful
That fits almlust perfectly: not as a show effect, but as a real stimulus for people who want not only to relax their body, but to feel it consciously.
The Alm Spa as the counterpoint to active days
almlust lives from movement — and just as much from what comes afterwards.
After an active day, the Alm Spa becomes exactly the place you hope for:
-
after skiing, when your legs feel heavy
-
after biking, when the body wants warmth
-
after hiking and mountain days, when quiet suddenly matters more than speed
-
after ice bathing, when warming up becomes part of the experience itself
The Alm Spa is therefore not just “wellness on top”, but a real part of the almlust way of life: go out, experience, come back, let go.
Not a sterile spa world, but real relaxation
What makes the Alm Spa special is not only its features, but the feeling behind them.
You should not feel as if you are sitting in a perfectly designed but soulless spa. You should feel that you are in a place that radiates warmth, naturalness and calm. A place where you do not have to function. A place where you drink tea after a sauna session, sink into your bathrobe and think: yes, this is exactly how a holiday should feel.
That is the wellness personality of almlust:
-
natural instead of artificial
-
soothing instead of over-staged
-
clear instead of overloaded
-
relaxing, but never stiff
Quiet spaces from age 16 and above
The Alm Spa area is available to guests aged 16 and above.
That keeps the character of the space exactly as intended: calm, relaxed and clearly centred around recovery. Everyone who spends time here should be able to enjoy warmth, silence and retreat in a conscious way.
Who is the Alm Spa made for?
For everyone who does not just “use” wellness, but really wants to feel it.
The Alm Spa is especially right for you if you:
-
want conscious regeneration after active days
-
love warmth without needing overloaded luxury
-
prefer natural wellbeing to polished perfection
-
appreciate sauna, infrared and cold exposure as a real balance
-
want your holiday to include not only action, but also a slower counterweight
That way, wellness becomes not a side note, but an important part of the whole almlust experience.
