Accessibility Statement

1. Introduction

ALMLUST GmbH is committed to making its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the legal provisions on accessibility. The legal basis for this is the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) and the relevant provisions of the Disability Equality Act (BGStG).
In addition, the provisions of the Accessibility Act (BaFG), which also applies to certain private providers from 28 June 2025 to implement the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), are taken into account.
This accessibility statement applies to the website: www.almlust.com

2. Accessibility Status

This website is partially accessible, as not all requirements are fully met.

3. Non-accessible Content

Despite our efforts, it is currently not possible to provide certain content in a fully accessible manner. This includes, in particular:

  • Older PDF documents, office files, and videos published before the deadlines outlined in Directive (EU) 2016/2102. These documents and media may contain inadequate structuring, missing alternative texts, or lack accessible features such as subtitles or audio descriptions.
  • Complex or older content that cannot be quickly adapted due to technical or resource limitations.
  • Low colour contrast: An insufficient contrast between text and background impairs readability—especially for people with visual impairments. Under the WCAG guidelines the contrast ratio should be at least 4.5 : 1(or 3 : 1 for large-scale text). When text is placed on images, you must also provide an adequate background behind the text. Transparency, filters, or gradients are not considered when calculating the contrast ratio.
  • For images that serve purely as layout placeholders, the alt attribute may be missing. According to WCAG, every <img> element must include a meaningful alt, even when the image is decorative. We are continuously working to remove these accessibility barriers.

We are continuously working to address these barriers.

4. Creation and Review of this Statement

This statement was created/modified on 10.06.2025.
Review methodology: Self-assessment (internal tests with various browsers and keyboard navigation) as well as partially automated tests using tools like WAVE or Lighthouse.
