High ropes course in Flachau – high ropes, high fun at almlust
Balance, courage and a little adrenaline: at the high ropes course at almlust, you climb through nets, bridges and rope obstacles high above the ground – and finish by flying back down on the Flying Fox.
A balancing act high above the ground
Our high ropes course in Flachau already looks impressive from a distance – and up close it becomes a real adventure. At a height of 9 to 12 metres, you take on exciting obstacles in the climbing park, move across swaying elements and find out how much balance, courage and concentration you have in you. At the end, the Flying Fox brings you back down in the most spectacular way.
Up high – with views and adrenaline
A high ropes course may sound like pure fun at first. At almlust, it becomes even more than that: a real experience full of height, movement and that good feeling of daring a little more.
Among the elements waiting for you are:
- a huge climbing net
- swaying bridges
- different rope obstacles
- the Flying Fox as the grand finale
It is exactly this mix that makes the high ropes course so special. Sometimes it is all about balance, sometimes overcoming yourself, sometimes concentration – and often simply about taking that first brave step.
A playground 12 metres above the ground
Child’s play? Definitely not. Our high ropes course is made for everyone who enjoys challenges, likes a bit of height and wants real action.
It is especially great for:
- adventure lovers
- adrenaline fans
- groups
- teams
- families with teenagers
Because these are exactly the moments people keep talking about afterwards: the first wobble on a bridge, the glance down, the push through the climbing net and the moment you simply let go on the Flying Fox.
The Almsee is right next door
And the best thing after the adventure? The cool-down is never far away. Right next to the high ropes course, the Almsee is waiting – perfect when, after all the height, tension and Flying Fox fun, you feel like water and a moment to breathe out. That is how one action-packed session quickly turns into a full almlust moment.
Created for adventurers
Everyone with a minimum height of 1.45 metres can test their limits in the high ropes course. Guests who are smaller can experience the course with an accompanying adult. Helmet and climbing harness are provided directly at almlust, so everything you need for your way up is already there.
First the briefing, then the height
Before you start, you receive a briefing from our guide. Afterwards, you try the elements step by step with instruction and guidance, so you can ease into the course with a good feeling.
That makes it ideal for guests who:
- are in a high ropes course for the first time
- want to begin with a safe feeling
- are coming as a group or team
- are looking for a challenge, but not chaos
That way, the thrill does not become overwhelming, but turns into exactly the right mix of safety, fun and adventure.
Perfect for families, friends & teams
The high ropes course is not only fun for individuals – it works especially well together. Families with older children, groups of friends or teams experience exactly what great shared activity time should feel like here: a bit of courage, encouraging each other, laughing together and, in the end, the good feeling of having really experienced something.
Especially for teams, the course is exciting because trust, focus and motivation climb right along with you. And for families with teenagers, it is exactly the kind of holiday experience that never feels boring.
