Ice bath moments
Hi almlust fans,
I'm Joelle, Elli or Jojo - no matter what name we know each other by, I'm looking forward to experiencing Almlust with you. I study in Innsbruck, do triathlon and help out at the Almlust reception every now and then. I've also worked here as an ice-cream seller, breakfast fairy and in many other roles. That's why I like to call myself a temporary dwarf at the moment.
Today I would like to tell you about our cool ice bath workshop. As most of you probably know by now, ice bathing helps with inflammation, muscle recovery and weight loss. There are of course many other benefits that athletes like me, but also everyone else, can take advantage of.
However, to avoid simply jumping into a frozen lake somewhere unprepared, we as the Almlust team would like to offer you the opportunity to realise your full potential and learn how to swim on ice properly and everything that goes with it. The workshop will take place from 4 October to 6 October in your Almlust. You can expect breathing sessions in which you will not only learn the right breathing technique, but also find mental peace by spending your time-out from stressful everyday life not with your mobile phone, but with yourself.
In addition, the theory you have learnt will be put into practice during ice swimming. Under the guidance of professional Sonja Flendorfer, you will get a little closer to the best version of yourself. And by the way, there will be a Vital&Aktiv snack in between for all those who also like to snack.
